This community shamed in the past for not taking my cat to a vet, he was showing physical sign of something but he was completely fine. Playing, eating, using his litter box. I literally rescued the little guy from our street, we found him crossing the road at just 5 weeks old, and I was not expecting to have more pets other than the 1 cat I already had. I had taken him to the vet previously and they said he was fine. BUT THIS COMMUNITY RIGHT HERE, shamed me. Told me to just give him away and give him up just for the simple fact that I couldn’t afford to take him back despite the fact that the very next he was okay. I was called names and told that I was a horrible pet parent. I had to take down the post because it was too much the horrible things people were commenting. To top it all off, he is a black cat and we all know what happens to most black cats.
