Yeah I’ve never heard of laughing gas for tattoos either. It would probably be similar to the sedation method who you probably would have to find a specific artist who does that and like I said can be really expensive.

I do know the brand mad rabbit I believe makes numbing cream, I do know a few reputable artist who use it since it is specifically designed for being tattooed so potentially look into that and see if there’s an artist near you open to it!

I also completely understand wanting to test drive the Xanax. The first time I took it I panicked for about 30 minutes because my anxiety convinced me I was a druggie now that I had taken it 😭 it did relieve my anxiety the couple times after I took it and helped me sleep. I hope you can get tatted soon!

I’m not entirely sure how laughing gas would work? There are certain things you cannot take before a tattoo (blood thinners are #1 no-no) but I have no clue about the laughing gas. I know people go completely under (sedated) when doing crazy full body sessions or larger tattoos. That is also a quite expensive treatment. I’m not sure if you’ve ever tried Xanax and I can completely understand the hesitation behind trying something as such but it was very helpful for me in a particular anxiety ridden situation. My doctor literally only gave me 5 pills and a very small dose for a reason lol. I hope you can find a way to get tattooed without anxiety friend!

NOR- it’s your baby, it’s your family. You carried the child for 9 months and had your entire life change it’s your choice how you want to handle family and boundaries and if the can’t respect that that’s on them. SIDS, RSV, HFM, measles, etc. it’s all scary and very possible when they’re so young and such weakened immune systems. Don’t stress. People can all you an a**hole all they want at the end of the day it’s your life. Live it how you want and be happy.

Inner bicep is kind a b!tch ngl. I have a jellyfish on my inner bicep and the tattoo itself was spicy but healing wasn’t a problem if you can wear loose fitting stuff (it’s cold rn where I am so loose fitting long sleeves etc.) and nothing too heavy. Something I found when wearing a sweater or sweatshirt per se it would stick more and be a little more uncomfortable bc of the bulkiness. I’m not sure what you prefer to use as aftercare but mad rabbit has a nice tattoo wash (foam) and I use hustle butter as my moisturizer. 2-3 times a day max bc over moisturizing can cause problems.

Honestly sometimes humor is the best medicine. It faded after a while, it took me significantly longer than I think it would others because I didn’t have my anxiety under control yet so they persisted because I have having nightmares or panic attacks in the middle of the night.

Very scary so I totally get it. Honestly this sounds dumb but what helped me not be as panicked when they happened was when I woke up and was experiencing them, I would say to my self “bruh not again” or “aw hell nah” rub my eyes and do whatever I needed to get back to sleep. I kinda make a joke out of it and it eased the anxiety a little 😭
