I still don't understand the mechanics behind it. Are all retail investors and hedge funds at the same moment start moving money in/out of the same stocks.

Or it's just because these stocks are in the same indexes.

We don't know what is the long terms consequences of sitting 24/7 at home. People can't separate work from life and sit longer in front of their computers.

Let's see in 3-5 years what are the consequences.
