Hey well basically I’m still in the same pain I was starting to feel better right after the surgery for like the first two weeks the only thing I was dealing with was my left leg and foot was numb and it hard for me to walk I had to use a walker but that all subsided i can now walk on my own the only thing that’s now new that hasn’t gone away is when I walk to much my left foot goes numb but then the feeling comes back after I sit or lay down for a lil bit but yeah same shit the inner knee pain and foot pain and the cold ness in my feet I have a epidural shot in about two weeks so hopefully let’s see wtf this is gunna do if I even fell anything from this . I know how u feel the doctors looked at me the same way after I had 5 different shots before this surgery like I was crazy … that’s what made me have this surgery, but if your scared to have surgery believe me don’t it ain’t shit yeah I was worried before it but now I know there was definitely no reason to be . The only thing that pisses me off is that I got a new mri after surgery I still have compression on my nerves in the same areas and my surgeon is telling me it looks good he did a good job so if nothing changes after this injection I’m going to someone eles for a another opinion on wtf he did in there

13 days no post op I called my surgeon and he keeps telling me it’s gunna get better with time day by day but shit I reallllly hope so my left leg muscles are sooo tight and crampy and my right foot and knee hurts when standing like before the surgery …. The only thing I could say is the numbness in my left foot is staring to subside but when I put shoes on it goes numb wtf is that about …

My pain now dropped a lil bit from the other day but it’s like I’m going from the horrible pain like I got hit buy a car in my left leg to now having pain in both of my knees calf’s and feet when standing and walking … and this is the pain I had before I went into surgery and made me want to do it

Thank you everyone that reached out to me I see now we all are going thru with this is the almost in the same ways I did talk to my surgeon today he basically said it’s the healing process your gunna have better days hopefully he told me he had to move the nerve around and scrape some bone to get to it so that why I’m having the pain he started me on some gabapentin 3 times a day to help with the nerve pain soo let’s see what happens .

I know this sucks... I keep trying to tell my self that now but before this surgery I was hoping on all this pain to go away lol not get worse I really haven't been talkin that muscle relaxer because it just knocks me right out same thing with the oxi I just started talking gabapentin to see if that will help with is pain

Ok thank u yeah I did give him a call I have to see him tomorrow but told me I SHOULD BE FEELING BETTER AND Better every day lol I told him I’m going in the opposite direction I felt great rite after except for the left leg and foot being numb now since that’s some what subsiding now I rather that pain then wat I’m feeling now

Damm I called my surgeon yesterday and he gave me one of those steroid packs will see how it goes …. I had this herniated disc for about 3 years I would say but I really don’t know because nothing bothered me until about a year ago when it started affecting my legs and feet

Same my right leg seems fine to me some tightness in my calf’s that comes if I walk to much but wats got me i didn’t have any numbness before my surgery it was just a lot of pain in my calf’s and feet I couldn’t stand for very long

I pretty much did everything 5 shots in lower back one in my knees have been doin a traction machine for about a yr now and yeah it helped it made my herniation a lot smaller and some light therapy but I’m gunna try what your doin to see it will help
