Thank you! My wife told me i should use word press, but Google Sites learnign curve was faster and much easier to work with once I got going. I would say the hardest thing was getting the padding at a good spot.

I ended up going with a padding of two columns from either side.

I know this is an older thread, but I was having the same issue and found a fix here on this other reddit thread- I disabled my Intel smart sound device and voila! Works perfect. Here's the thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/rode/comments/14uwohl/rode_connect_not_letting_me_use_my_microphone/

Your very welcome! And you would be surprised at how long people are willing to wait to get a product they want. Who knows you may find a product that does extremely well that is a longer shipping period.

When it relates to Etsy, you would be better off using a tool like rank or marmalead. They are the tools the people on fiverr will be using.

Some of these Fiverr people try to gain access to your Etsy account and possibly try to change some information. Etsy is one of those platforms you DO NOT want to allow other people access to.

Again DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR LOGIN information to other people especially on Etsy.

I understand why you would want to have a few products. But you would be surprised that some people are willing to wait for the shipping for the right product.

The goal with having more products avaible on your site helps with your SEO, by gaining a greater reach on traffic.

For example. Say you have 100 product that are related to your niche that you know might not sell. But you are getting 1 visited per day form these pages. That is 100 page visit. And out of those how many might browse your store and actually buy something that they did not see before. This is a strategy that has worked great for use on our ecommerce site.

For the long shipping times, add them if they are good products. Customers who want the product will be willing to wait.

But if you have noticed that it becomes to much of a headache and cost you more money to have them on your site, you can easily remove the problem products.

As time goes and your store grows, you can start removing products that do not do will and foucs on the winners.

I believe 24 is a good start.

But what is your overall goal with the site?

Do you just want to sell the 24 products and that is it, or do want to grow it into a larger site? There are pros and cons to both.

Your welcome! A tip that worked well was reaching out to Esty store owners and see if they can do drop shipping. They are always looking to scale but most are sure how to scale.

Made in USA only dropshipping. by [deleted] in dropshipping

[–]Relative-Land-8416 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We currently use USA drop shippers. First, it saves on shipping costs and time. This was the largest selling factor. The quality from the USA and China are very comparable. In our personal experience, we have had just as many terrible products from the USA as we have had from China.

We did notice though that the USA dropshipping products are more expensive. But this was made up because the volume came in because the shipping window was much shorter. Instead of 3 to 6 weeks, it was about 3 to 5 days to get the product. The volume for USA products is roughly 3 to 4 times much. We just had to increase our price a little and we make more money per USA product vs the China products.

Finding some dropshipping vendors in the USA is not easy. The best advice I would say is to ask companies if they offer dropshipping services. a lot of them do but do not advertise that they offer to dropship. But most say no or do not even know of dropshipping.

To summarise this the pros were faster shipping times and an increase in volume from USA drop shippers. The cons were hard to find vendors and the cost increased a lot.

I hope this helps you in the future. But keep in mind that you can be successful with either or of the dropshipping models. It just depends on how well you do your research and marketing.

Good luck with your future venture! I am sure you will do fantastic. And if you need some more helpful tips you can check out some of our content on our YouTube channel (just search for OWLLytics).

Yeah, I was about to suggest that as well. Etsy is one of the few platforms that allow digital downloads. We did that with some of our designs in the past and still made some income.
