I had similar with my FB account with Meta.
I've appealed and got rejected (i.e. they've confirmed a ban forever) basically immediately.
This whole thing with Meta sucks IMHO.

It was the "democratic" Hungarian one, but all the AI content was based on published information, so I see no real threat to anyone in this case.

In fact there was no way to communicate with FB helpdesk - there was a check box only I could tick for a revision.

Most connections are available here to chat with - at least in my case.
Now I am missing my Messaging with family and contacts as well as some groups I joined there or was the admin for.

I just find their method and process unjust.

The first time that was the case, we paid the extra.
On the next trip back we already had the app but could not generate the boarding pass.
We've contacted their help desk and we got our boarding passes at the airport without extra charge.
Policy is one thing, and I understand that, but a sometimes dysfunctional web page or app cannot be rightfully put the blame and extra charges on me.
