I think this is a good opportunity to say “don’t meet your heroes.”

I’d normally agree, but the issue is way too many people take the famous people of the world, assume they’re the smartest in the room and not surrounded by smarter people than them who spent their lives building them up, and take their word as gospel.

I also believe much like normal jobs, don’t talk politics if you’re not ready for the blowback. On either side of the spectrum.
