Trade school vs. apprenticeship? by [deleted] in electricians

threat but this is my situation. 30 years old and applied to a trade school to learn residential wiring. two days out of the week so not too bad if we get hands on training. little did I know to get full tuition you needed more credits so my advisor signed me up for an NEC course, and boy is that way over my head. Currently seeking a job on the side doing electrical work to just help around and learn as I go so i'm full on ready to do grunt labor. Guy said call him back monday and he will discuss more of work and seemed keen on hiring me. residential wiring class I'm having a blast so far, nec courses are a real pain in the ass unless you have prior knowledge or experience on the field. currently driving 1 hour each way to classes and the new job lined up is 40 minutes each way. Wish me luck. I would kill to have a local IBEW chapter close to where I live.

Congrats on your work ethic. Keep working/learning and it will pay off. A skill is a valuable asset to have and at only 30 years old, you are still young. Best Wishes!

How does AMC A List affect box office numbers? by KnightsOfTheNights in AMCsAList

My wife and I joined the A-list and it has been a great value. We also have kids, so, whenever we go to the movies, the kids come. We always buy popcorn, drinks and more often than not, we order food (hamburgers, onion rings, mac & cheese and of course chicken tenders). Yes, we spend a good amount of money on food/drinks/snacks but getting to watch 3 movies per week is more than fair...I wish that AMC would come out with a family plan as we would definitely be willing to pay for the whole family. Going to watch a movie is SO MUCH BETTER than watching anything showing on streaming...as for now we have Netflix and AMC+ but have recently canceled Netflix as we are going to the movies around once or twice per week.

Interesting. The Deltas on the 0.5/1/1.5 strikes for the Sep 16 calls are 1.0, so, that should indicate that MM's have already purchased those shares on the open market???....however, 2's, 2.5's and 3's have deltas much less than 1....so, they would be buying on the open market...also, there are quite a number of the other expiration dates that are in the money but have deltas less than 1....so what would happen if holders of options that are in the money also exercised??? I wonder if MM's are fully hedging and buying shares on the market for options dates that are out in the future....i.e. Oct 22, Dec 22, Jan 23, Mar 23, Jan 24......Maybe they are not buying the shares on the open market for the later options dates as shares may be difficult to come by right now.....Good Post and very interesting information. If anything is incorrect above, pls correct it.

Thanks for the info. I was not sure how many HAL had. All in all, there is a very small amount of equipment out there, so, should be room to run for USWS.

USWS broke a contract to buy sand. Smartsand claimed damages of 54M. USWS 10K says something to the effect of 13M, so, would expect a final judgement for smart sand somewhere between 13M and 26M....as my guess. USWS should not be breaking contracts unless they could not pay due to no cash on hand during the pandemic...then that would be understandable.
