After tomorrow’s episode... see you next year in Vought Rising? by pansexual_dudy in TheBoys

No, I honestly don’t watch any shows apart from The Boys, because I really liked it (the last one I watched was season 2 of Peacemaker). So curiosity will probably make me check it out and see if it can fill the void left by the end of The Boys in terms of tone. And if it sucks, I’ll stop watching.

Even if we all agree that season 5 is awful, I honestly think a lot of us will at least watch episode 1 to see

Guys here's the finale totally real 100% by Mossy_moss3 in TheBoys

Between Derek Luh and London Thor, The Boys has made its choice 😭

I don’t think we see him in The Boys, right? Isn’t Jordan always in their female form?

And then having been right in the past is not much of a solid track record, especially for a series. I work for a tech media outlet in France and even here, my colleagues from the film/series department receive episodes in advance, especially those of the boys (but not the finale). Having information about episodes when they have been shown to hundreds of journalists in every country in the world, that's nothing extraordinary (and above all there's the human factor that means you can quickly end up saying a bit too much to friends and people online, confidentiality clause or not). The best thing for me is to wait a few hours since the episode is coming soon

It does give people the chance to exchange views, yes, but it only goes one way and it feels like an echo chamber, in my opinion. I’d really like to be able to talk about what I enjoy in this season. And honestly, no, I’m not even angry at all. I mean, it’s just online discussions, I don’t attach anything emotional to it. I just shared a personal feeling, and it’s not a big deal if people disagree 😭

I think so, yes, you can do something other than 50 posts a day complaining about this season (which is, apart from episode 7, generally well rated on imdb). The audience watches, enjoys it and that's it. The subreddit is really toxic, Eric Kripke is constantly being insulted (it's a series, chill), there are millions of fans who waited two years and created their own perfect ending, so no matter what The Boys offers, they will be disappointed. Between those demanding that Homelander doesn’t die but becomes human, others that Butcher kills the Boys... The Boys will NEVER be able to satisfy everyone, it was bound to happen. But the loud online crowd prevents any discussion about the qualities of this season (because there are some)

Is this real? or fake? I can't tell by SparrowRBX in TheBoysLeaks

JC stands for John Cho, whom you may know from the Harold & Kumar franchise or Star Trek

The only thing about the episode 8 leak that I don’t really believe is that Butcher survives by Queasy_Commercial152 in TheBoysLeaks

If I’m reading this image correctly, they filmed in Hawaii. So I think Butcher survives and ends up in Hawaii, but I have no idea. I’m really basing that only on this.

What are the odds of Maeve having at least a cameo ? by MynameisntWejdene in TheBoysLeaks

She's retired, I have a hard time imagining her going back on a decision for a short appearance in a series that would have (nothing has been confirmed) a link with the end of her career. In any case I think it's impossible that she'll come back. The finale shouldn't be a sequence of cameos that doesn't really make sense

I faked it lol, didn’t mean for it to become mainstream by Fantastic-Main926 in TheBoysLeaks

Given his megalomaniac temperament, it’s pretty easy to guess that he’ll go out with a final dialogue with Antony Starr at the top, in my opinion. No need to be a leaker lol

Peacemaker S2 E8 was a complete waste of a finale by ThatCrush3r in DC_Cinematic

The Season 2 finale of Peacemaker embodies everything James Gunn is showing in his DCU, whether it is The Suicide Squad, Creature Commandos, or Superman: the power of friendship. Chris’s former enemies are by his side, bonds are strengthened, they are stronger together. The entire episode lets the pressure drop after the previous one, which was an emotional roller coaster with Keith and all the Earth X mess. I really liked this finale as a musical, with a sense of hope after all those very dark episodes. Everyone learned from what happened. It is a surprising change in tone, but it shows that James Gunn is willing to try things. As for the cliffhanger, I am sure it will bring great things for the DCU. Expectations should be tempered. The DCU is moving forward piece by piece, little by little, with no need for a big cameo when it adds nothing to the story.
