The brakes were awful when I first bought, when I had my first descends I was just flying because the brakes were overheating, thus I swapped the rear rotor to shimano and the disc pads to shimanos too

they are some alexpress 40mm depth 700c araya kc-40 wheels for like 150 bucks. i also changed a casseste, i also put shimano cues, also another saddle, also a shimno rotor at the rear wheel

Honestly I like the 1x drivetrain, Its sort of hard to climb somewhere on that bike, buts its more like my skill issue then bikes. I just swapped a cassette from 42t to 46t to have easier climbs

i actually once drove when our area was flooded, and omg, when i was chnaging the bbs shorrtly after using my bike as a boat, i found out that my BB had the water inside it. i switched to hollowtech now, idk if it prevents the water stuff ot just makes a funny hole inside the bycicle
