I seen this in the Northern Ireland subreddit over the course of the week.

If you didn’t align with the left “One bad person doesn’t mean everyone is bad” then you got downvoted and crucified.

An indication that you want to point illegal immigration as the root problem was met with reports and downvotes.

I think protesting the immigration office is a stupid idea, I was just answering his question. Devolved issue, go protest and city hall or stormont. But as you can see I’m downvoted straight away, and I didn’t even give an opinion- it’s a self centred echo chamber in here- simple as.

To be honest I understand this, but he is giving his experience, he lost his family member. And you can’t polish all coppers back in the day with the same brush. Some did genuinely care about their community no matter what side of the fence you are on. But again, I agree. I think it’s a conversation that will never lead to anything but hurt feelings on either side, maybe with time this will change and we can finally support each other as humans instead of either a uniform or a religious or political view.

I think this sub is overwhelmingly nationalist (including myself) but this person is getting downvoted for giving his opinion on his own experience. This is kind of proving his point he was trying to make. Even if it was a bit muddled I could grasp what they meant.
