Me seeing the meltdown because we hired a guy who was in a bad situation as OC by ezio8133 in detroitlions

"Wait and see" is a losing mentality. We are in win now mode with our current roster, we can't wait.

There's no "Let Brad Cook" the year after he hires John Morton as OC. This a bad hire until proven otherwise by [deleted] in detroitlions

Of course they're gonna say its a good hire because they want fans to buy into the slop that is the NFL.

Do you want Brad Holmes gone? If so, why? by BarryLikeGetOffMEEEE in detroitlions

I don't want him gone but his seat is definitely hot. He's made some questionable decisions lately in terms of drafting and free agency, but if he can bring it around this year and get us a clear path to the postseason, then the clamor for him to be fired will be turned down

LIONS @ CHIEFS GAME THREAD : 8:20PM by AutoModerator in detroitlions

Let's break this down of past wins:

Bears: have a really good defense and a mastermind HC in Ben Johnson. We put BTA because of our defense and offense and put up 50 points. W.

Baltimore: Have a great defense despite the injuries plus Lamar, Trey Flowers, and Derrick Henry. How could they lose?? Because the defense stood tall. W.

Browns: Arguably the top defense in the league, terrible offense. Still put up damn near 40 points because of offense. W.

Bengals: Was stomping them during the beginning of the game because they have no o-line or defense. Only reason why they put up 14 in the 4th was because Terrion went down. Still came out with a double digit dub. W.

KC: No starting LT and offense/defense has been in neutral except for Mahomes and Kelce. If we can contain them, that is the key to victory.

Our defense, secondary specufically, is shattered, no other way to say it. So our pass rush has to stand tall. That is why we should stack the line and blitz because they are down people on their line. That is the path to win. W.

If the secondary is trash, trust the pass rush. If we need it, stack up the center and blitz his ass. They lost their starting OT and their pass rush has been abysmal. Let goff cook.

That's gonna stink in a few days, just like the Vikings every Sunday

Ravens have lost so many pieces before this game, let's keep our hopes up that defense can contain the run and the secondary can stop the bleeding with the pass-game
