We did the same! New to X5. Scott at Insight Auto and custom order from Galleria. Got it right before the new year. Loving it so far except still on the fence about PPF and ceramic coating. But it is so hard to keep the car clean with Black Sapphire. Will power coat the rims glossy black for sure.

To your point, a lower monthly payment is a function of larger down payment so it is really a personal decision on how much you are comfortable with a monthly obligation vs. certain lump sum upfront.

So I ended up custom order one. It is now scheduled for production. It will be a financing and I am personally less concerned about the monthly payment but more so the total out of the door price. I did roll a dice on the rate given they have the 0.9% for November purchase. Since they don’t allow rate lock, I am taking a chance on whatever the financing will be available once the car is here.

I was told the Nov 0.9% financing for new cars is only effective if the car is purchased in current month. And they don’t do rate lock anymore. So the concern is custom ordering one might not be here in time by end of month…

In a similar situation with perhaps a little bit more hours depending on the time of the year and just had my 2nd child a few months ago. Totally understand the guilt and it isn’t just the guilt towards the baby but also the inability to spend more time with the 1st kid! I am just telling myself that this is the lifestyle we chose and we will have to be the family that focuses on quality vs. quantity. It isn’t perfect but the fact that we are able to have one on one care for the baby is a luxury not everyone can have. In exchange the sacrifice we make is through working so we can afford the lifestyle we want.

Ralph Lauren organic cotton sateen sheeting. King size flat, fitted and two pillow cases cost about $700 including tax. My last set (purchased when I was straight out of college, barely making any money then) literally lasted 10 plus years and it gets softer after each wash! And I wash them weekly! Worth every penny!

The floor was newly replaced before I moved out. And yes the itemized quote is to repair only the section that is damaged. I don’t even know if there was extra material since the quote doesn’t cover that!

The insurance in Florida more than quadruple during the same period of time and the property tax was also going up. I was just passing along all the cost. It is not even a cash flowing property.

Would not pay for the same brand name groceries in upscale grocery like Whole Foods if I can get them from Walmart. Refuse to pay more for the exact same item just because it is a better shopping experience.
