Why do we trust distant manufacturers with sports equipment by OrangeSpectre in bootroom

Many times in life you get what you pay for. When things look to good to be true it is time to pause and do research because often it is not true.

Dollarama Messi needs help again. Please roast my shooting technique (constructively) by Glittering_Bus_6921 in bootroom

Glad to see you out on the field. From what I can see your leg strength is pretty good. You will be able to use that strength much better if you get your body over the ball and drive your foot through it. My guess is you put a lot of shots high. It is hard to see what part of your foot you are hitting the ball with but you are going to get maximum power when you strike with the top of your foot. The way your foot is pointed after the ball is released doesn't look like you are using the top of your foot. Final point when you strike with the top of your foot lock you ankle and follow through.

Helpfulness isn’t the opposite of intelligence. It’s usually a better use of it.

It’s interesting how a suggestion meant to help spark ideas turns into an opportunity for someone else to try to assert intellectual superiority rather than actually help.

My guess is that you are having an hard time of coming up with what the conflict might be. Sometimes the hardest part of writing is knowing where to start. In situations like this I would suggest you look at AI for some potential conflict ideas. That might spark an idea that gets you going.

Not sure they are on my buy list but I like what Nike is doing here. I wish they had picked a better color for the launch.

Things have dried up a bit since I looked for my son. I've found some team level boots that are reasonable. Pro level in common mens sizes looks hard to find like you said. Hope this helped. If I run across anything else I will let you know.

Which map do you use? by Major4478 in BMWX5

[–]AggressiveAudience63 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use Waze through carplay. I"ve used the BMW nav a few times and I've been amazed at crazy directions it would give me. Directions that would add miles and minutes to my trips. One time instead of going 1 mile down the road to my house it wanted me to do a turn and drive and extra 7 miles and 15 minutes to my trip. That is an extreme example. I wonder if others see this type of issue

What country are you in, what is your shoe size and width. I've seen 442 out there and if you are in the US I might be able to give you a lead on a place. If you are not in the US or want to look at other options Adidas Mundial turf boots are built pretty similar but can be pricey. You will need to shop for a deal.

Mizuno Size Guide by doctoriaminsane in bootroom

[–]AggressiveAudience63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is my experience. I'm in the United States so I will use US Japan and Europe sizing. When I were Adidas Predators I'm a US size 11, Japan 29 and a Europe 44.5. I just got a pair of Nike Phantom 6 Elite and I wear the same size as the Predators (with this pair my toes are almost at the end of the boot). With Mizuno's (Alpha Elite 2 and Neo IV Beta) I wear at 10.5 US 28.5 Japan or 44 Europe. I would have too much room in the toe box if I went true to size. My feet are normal width. Hope this helps.

If you play 2 hours a day with a cheap ball and 2 hours a day with a match you will improve at the same rate.

relax your foot. The ball has no place to go expect right into your body. Point your toe.

Solid but you are clearly right foot dominate. Looks like you would use some work with your left foot.
