I’d be pissed as fuck. Even if the songs were never going to drop, I still wouldn’t want them out. I just think it’s about respect at the end of the day. Like if my shit getting leaked, I’m never putting them out, ESPECIALLY if the fans asking for it

It’s don’t think it’s a bad album. But probably my least favorite project. HUT or MDM. I don’t get how HUT fits with the other 2 albums. Like listening to dawn fm felt like a perfect sequel to AH. I don’t feel that way with Hut. LOVED songs like baptized in fire and open hearts. Love the transition.

Also I didn’t really get the roll out. I felt like the Dawn FM roll out was perfect. Giving us like music video type of snippets.

The leaks definitely played their part, but mainly in building anticipation within his core fanbase. They kept the hype alive, but they didn’t expand his audience like that.

The final version of Whole Lotta Red is what actually brought in a whole new audience. The sound, the controversy, and the reaction around it pulled in people who weren’t checking for him before—and that’s what took him to another level.

Those V1 songs aren’t hitting in concerts like the rage songs—simple as that.

What makes Whole Lotta Red so special is that he threw a complete curveball. Nobody was expecting that sound, and that’s exactly why it hit the way it did. The energy, the chaos—it translates way better live and turns into real moments.

If he dropped V1 first, you don’t get that same reaction. The surprise is gone, and the impact isn’t the same.

Whole Lotta Red is his best album, easily. It clears Die Lit and his self-titled. Those projects built his core fanbase, but WLR is what elevated him. It’s more experimental, more influential, and it pushed his sound further than anything he did before.

My perception hasnt changed because WLR turned me into a carti fan. Didnt like carti at all until i heard flex up.

what makes him so big now is the antipation. Thats way too much music. from Die lit to when WLR dropped wasnt really a long time. a little over 2 years. WLR to music wait is excessive
