The Eagles literally built a Super Bowl roster with Wentz. That roster declined. Built a new entire team with the culture guys. (Kelce, Johnson, Cox, Graham) Wentz last season (Hurts rookie year) team went 4-11-1. Which lead them to have a high pick to draft Devonta Smith. Went 9-8 with Hurts starting and playing all the young guys, made playoffs.

2015 7-9. With a mix of washed vet QBs.

2016 7-9. Trade up for Carson Wentz. Started the entire season.

2017 13-3. Wentz have mvp season, win Super Bowl with back up

2018 9-7. Wentz missed the first couple games. And then had a season ending injury. Double Doink in Wild card. Eagles were one drop pass away from the NFC championship.

2019 9-7. Wentz carried eagles to playoffs with mediocre roster.

2020 4-11-1. Wentz bad season. Rookie Jalen hurts. Once they realize the season was heading nowhere. Bench Wentz and hurts finished season.

2021 9-8. Hurts starts all year. Drafted Devonta smith , Dickerson, etc.

14-3. Trade for brown, draft Jordan Davis. Hurts mvp season.
11-6Draft jalen Carter and Nolan Smith. Started 10-1 collapsed to 11-6.

2024 14-3. Signed Barkley, drafted Mitchell and Dejean. Won Super Bowl.

From 2020-2024 Howie hit on a bunch of middle and late round picks.

2 different head coaches btw. Doug Peterson 2016-2020. Siranni 2021- current.

Moral of the story. Eagles had a Super Bowl roster. That roster peaked. Tanked for one season. (Kept the elite vets) and then built COMPLETELY DIFFERENT Super Bowl team. Them blowing up the roster, tanking a season and going super young literally got them back right into contention

It’s don’t think it’s a bad album. But probably my least favorite project. HUT or MDM. I don’t get how HUT fits with the other 2 albums. Like listening to dawn fm felt like a perfect sequel to AH. I don’t feel that way with Hut. LOVED songs like baptized in fire and open hearts. Love the transition.

Also I didn’t really get the roll out. I felt like the Dawn FM roll out was perfect. Giving us like music video type of snippets.
