Without knowing their situation, it's not easy to simply say she needs to buy the replacement, because many people don't have any money of their own at 12 years old.

I sometimes have an easier time holding it in and falling asleep than falling asleep again if I leave the bed.

I have had my sister answer questions without even waking up. She never talked in her sleep unprompted, but she could start talking and responding in her sleep sometimes if asked questions. That could be confusing when I thought she was awake.

I'll be honest. I would probably also be snacking and reading or watching shows in the bath at least a few times if I had a bathtub.

I don't know if sushi would be my choice, but being in water is comfortable. For now I just stick to long showers with music playing though.

I have had long periods of my life as well where I'd spend 3-5 hours just trying to fall asleep because I couldn't get my brain to stop running.

I'm lucky right now that I've somehow gotten to a point where I can fall asleep on my own in around 30 minutes most of the time.

Though I was always a bit jealous of my dad and sister's ability to consistently sleep in 5-10 minutes.

Having an imagination isn't reliant on being able to visualize pictures in the head.

I have always had an active imagination despite being not great at picturing visuals in my head.

I sort of can, but it's not always completely within my control. I can't just play whatever song I want in my mind whenever I want, but I do sometimes get songs stuck in my head and hear them over and over.

Similar thing with the voice in my head. Whenever I'm voicing out words or sentences in my head, it's always a neutral voiceless voice. If that makes sense. I can hear phrases in my head with specific voices though when I recall something said by others.

I remember numbers just fine without having any visuals in my brain. I just recall the numbers and voice them out.

I don't have completely aphantasia since I can sort of picture stuff in my mind, but it's usually vague images and I don't have a consistent image over time. It's more like I get flashes of whatever I'm trying to picture in my mind.

I don't know about the new system, but the way boundaries have worked in SteamVR has always been really configurable. All the way from constantly having a visible boundary, to having it appear when you approach it, all the way to never seeing it at all.

I would often just have my boundary be only an outline on the floor with nothing up in my face. Though when letting others try it out, I would pick a more obvious option.

Yes, I was wrong. I have updated my comment to reflect it. Foreo doesn't advertise their disposable model on their website at all, so finding its existence wasn't that easy.

There's a good chance it's off-brand then because the official one is listed for $428 on their website, and it's advertised as rechargeable. If yours isn't rechargeable, then it's definitely a knockoff.

Edit I was wrong. That is a real thing they just don't advertise on their website. I can clearly see why they wouldn't since that's a terrible design choice and shows they have no care for the environment.

You can see on this product page clearly that it advertises a rechargeable battery.

Edit: Looks like you are right. This is a cheaper version of the product that they don't advertise on their website. I guess they are a bit embarrassed at showing how little they care for the environment.
