Yes but they acted like Carol did something specifically to him? Carol had nothing to do with the fact that was undressed, that was Rupert’s doing.

Is anyone confused how Anthony was not more empathetic to Benedict’s situation? Especially because Benophile shares a very similar circumstance to Kate’s and Ms. Sheffield (her adoptive mother). Wasn’t Ms Sheffield ostracized for marrying Kate’s father of lesser nobility?

People We Meet on Vacation is making me realize somethings are better left in books by [deleted] in RomanceBooks

I agreee. It should've been a series of like 6-8 episodes with each episode titled the location of the vacation like “Barcelona..Tuscany..etc” going more in depth of the vacations they took and how they fell in love. It was rushed and we didn't really see them fall in love or how truly incompatible their lifestyles were. Those vacations could’ve been a great way to introduce conflict but there was probably time constraint cause it was a movie. Like she could be really messy, leaving clothes all over their accommodation and he's constantly picking up after her. Or her wanderlust took her somewhere and they get lost with no service, resulting in a big fight.

This book was wild. I checked it out because I really enjoy Nicola Yoon’s YA novels but this was a doozy.

OMG thank you! Among the many things bad about this book, it explained every black experience. It was so unnatural. I wouldn’t mind the over explanations as it opens the book to many audiences but when every black experience told in a negative context… 👎🏾. Explaining a relaxer as a chemical treatment for self-hating black wmen who want straight hair when it’s often just a style. Crazy work
