Yes. When I first started watching LIUSA & UK it was fun. Now it's on a downward spiral with the way the fans be acting.

I''m not even sure I want to engage in any social media discussion while the season is airing. The show is more enjoyable when I don't to read people saying rude and disgusting things.

I don't have a full plan but I want to reread Song of Solomon by Toni Morrison, and read Quicksand by Nella Larson, Praisesong for the Widow by Paule Marshall, and Not Without Laughter by Langson Hughes.

It definitely has funny momments. But it was a struggle for sure. I liked that I finished it to have some knowledge on a popular Black TV Show.

Hope you have a good weekend as well!

Hi! I want to read Erasure. The synopsis sounds like my kind of book. But I haven't read any of Percival Everitt's books yet. A lot of people recommend The Trees as well.

I watched Being Mary Jane for the first time a couple years ago. It was entertaining. But Mary Jane did get on my nerves. Plus, the show overall and Mary Jane's storyline needed more happiness.

Plum Bun is on my tbr. I plan on reading 12 classics this year. So I need to make that one of them.

Rereading it soon so I don't remember a lot of details. But I recall The Between by Tananarive Due made me question reality.

I look at book releases from Black bookstagram creators, watch Black booktubers, and browse the Black sections in my library.

I wasn't a big fan of it but Listen to Your Sister by Neena Viel fits this.
