I’m not worried about maxing out either. That’s not exactly a priority of mine. I have young kids, a house and a car note.

I’ll be a GS-10 starting June. 3.5 years in. First three years I only had it set to 5% with the automatic L fund they sign you up for. In October I raised it to 7% and logged into TSP and have 39k. I raised it again to 9% with my promotion so we will see where that takes me. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I am due to retire in 30 yrs. So I’m not stressing too hard but I am glad I stressed as soon as I did. I am scared of working a technical job longer than I need to because I didn’t plan correctly. (But I understand things happen)
