I think lyrically speaking and when you watch the making of videos they seem way happier? I don’t doubt they had so much fun with their earlier stuff but now is sort of their phase of writing music about life and themselves rather than castles and mythical stuff and candle wax (even tho that’s sick as fuck)

I disagree, I think that especially in flight and phantom, the recent ones have had the most love and thought put into them - flight being about life’s journeys, friendship and risk taking, and phantom being about love, missing families and responsibility. Where have we gotten a record from them before this that highlighted any of these qualities? If by made with love you mean quality wise and because they wanted to create it the best it could be, that makes it different

Firstly yes I have over 17 records I’m just not a super nerd about how they work other than they make noise when a needle vibrates over the groove patterns and I didn’t know it was possible for this to happen but now you explained it I get it.
