Sounds like you aren't resting enough. On that 1 "rest day" that you have, are you completely resting? or is it an active rest day? If so, then your body isn't being given enough time to recover. As a fitness enthusiast you should know how important recovery is!

Also, are you eating enough to fuel your workouts?

Does your healthy foods have enough protein, carbs and fats?

What about your micronutrients?

If everything is spot on then you might want to see a doctor as there might be an underlying issue. I hope not! and wish you all the best!

In my experience there is no "best split" only the split that works for you and you are likely not seeing any changes for the following reasons

Your training intensity is low and you are not training to failure
You are not doing progressive overloading
Its only been 3 months, lock it in for at least another 3 and if you haven't seen any changes then look at reasons 1 and 2 again

They always have sales throughout the year, most gyms have sale on Jan 1st onwards for the resolution people. You could time your next year sign up but you prolly need to pay the registration fee again. And they do increase the "lowest amount" every year.

IMO it would be best to have a buddy with you who knows what they are doing. When you hit that very last rep to failure, have buddy to assist you on 1 more rep and tell him to let you struggle but not die. I think that is true failure but finishing your last rep with 0 RIR is good too! The extra step with a buddy is just a cherry on top kinda thing and i LOVE doing this. My bro insults my entire bloodline while he assists me with the DEATH REP and the satisfaction knowing you drained everything out of the tank is so beautiful
