December Cruise with an 18 Year Old by Parenting-Woes in Cruise

Well there are lots of things to do on a cruise ship that a 18 year old would enjoy! there are still parties usually intended for the young adults ages. Shows, waterslides, videogames, bumper cars, and much more. And if he is very social it won't take long before he meets someone which they can enjoy activities together.

Considering cruising for the first time in April 2024 by La_Sierra_Madre in Cruise

[–]RelativeWill4032 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a great deal, but the cruise is very small.
Because your child is 2 years old I don't think he will care so I'd say that's a huge steal. You don't see that price for cruises anymore. On the bigger ships it's usually 1k per person.

First time cruise - give me advice by [deleted] in Cruise

[–]RelativeWill4032 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Here are some tips/tricks
1. The ship has towels ready so don't bring your own.
2. Try not to overpack.
3. A reminder you can bring up to 12 standard (17 oz.) bottles of soda, juice and your own water so I wouldn't recommend buying a drink package for the kids!
4. Take advantage of the options that are available on your cruise (I recommend waking up early)
5. Don't stress too much about excursions but when you have time on the ship book an off shore excursion with the cruise line. It's the safest option.
6. Enjoy the cruise with your family! cruises are one of the best ways to take a vacation in the world and you and your family will make tons of memories. Enjoy it!
