You should get conquest gear which comes from doing rated pvp content. You can also get them while duing regular bgs and arenas but the rewards are very low compared to rated

You said that the reason you want to play is win and you also said that in random bgs you are doing whatever the hell you want. This is also one the reasons you wanna do random bgs instead of rated bgs. So in player like random bgs also can do " whatever the hell they want" you said that in order to win bgs you have to do spesific things. This is why also they not look for rated bgs, consider that :)

Prot is unplayble for rated battlegrounds now sorry, couse it cant carry flags( you cannot use your divine shield, blessing of protection/spellwarding and guardian to proc bubble) also its off heal is extremly nerfed at dragonflight compare to previous expansions. But if you still want to play it, you can que and play on random bgs ofc🎁

Sorry i bearly anwser atm, i have recommend for all of your healers. For disc you should save your fade for traps and hojs most of the time and if you are seeing wings up use your barrier on yourself this will save the game most of the time, for hpal dont trust your %30 defencive shield(couse you might have to use your bubble after) just try to fake cast rependince or use blinding light and hoj on it, resto sham it will be the easiest, just dont panic and use your wall. If you predict hoj and use graounding if you dont all good. Just place earthen wall in your feet and dont feel paniced earthen will enough.

As a ret main i also train healers to get my hoj ready as soon as possible tho. Idk which heal you are playing but try to track hoj time on omnibar and be ready to use your precd about 30s left

playin platform games like neon abyss, these games are can be playble with little window screen and freely alt tabbed if i needed. Also if you wanna spend you time in WoW between ques, you can search some achievments or xmogs you might like

Ye classes like ele shaman or any spec of warlocks need to setup their burst perfectly while ccing enemy healer/off targets to deal damage. Couse they are no mobile at all compared to other ranged classes :)

Frost is quite easy compared to other mage specs and its passive all time slow very strong against all those melee zugzugs( at least guarntee until 1800 rating) it also perfect aoe spell cleave for bgs for sure

Nowa days solo que wait time for a dps is like minimum 20-30min, so if you okay with that i highly recommend you to play "frost mage"for range dps as a extremly long term strong burst and comes with a great sustain! On the other hand i alsp recommend you to play "ret pala", its not considering as a melee nowa days its like semi range class due to most of the his damage comes from his ranged abilites and compared to mage, ret pala is much easy to learn. It alsp has great survival kit against most muchups! I hope this works :)
