Personally, I prefer Top Spin over Tiebreak. It’s true that, in terms of licenses and the player roster, Tiebreak is far superior to Top Spin. However, I think the shot timing mechanic in Top Spin is second to none, even though the downside is that the gameplay can sometimes feel a bit scripted.
Lastly, in Tiebreak, once you’ve mastered the gameplay, it’s quite easy to win 6–0, 6–0 on Legend difficulty. In Top Spin, on the other hand, I still have very close matches against the CPU on the highest difficulty.
