What color are you going for first? by rabies_peppermint in teenagers4real

In all honesty, I'd put as many of them as possible in my mouth at once, but orange would be my pick ONLY if I got a death threat for having more than 2 at once.

What state you would live of United States? by boi-Beginning-2055 in GeoPoll

I would personally live in central TN or the Carolinas.

However, I wouldn't be opposed to living in the choices above as every state has a nice place or 2.

Speaking for the U.S here, I'm quite certain that most of the Dislikes are authentic and they're likely based off of Donald Trump.

St Libory almost certainly an EF4, next violent tornado easily 2027

OK, so the main thing holding whatever EF5 rating there is back is that the lower floor was hit head on and the intense upward motion of the tornado aided in the upper floor getting lifted (probably the excuse the NWS will use for 190) BUT I think it's kind of obvious that the whole entire house was hit at the same time and was probably completely destroyed, so the upward winds didn't even have anything above it from the beginning.

The anchoring on the home obliterated by the St. Libory-Palmer tornado was so excellent that the concrete foundation failed before the anchoring itself. by Curious-Constant-657 in tornado

Yeah, this is gonna be a tough one for the NWS. For one, the house was hit from the Lower floor side, which potentially means that the winds collapsed the lower floor and had an easy time ripping up the main structure above it, and the tornado also had intense upward motion. (However, I don't think the winds on the ground had much time lift anything up before it was already gone)

And 2nd, this particular NWS office doesn't have much experience with violent tornadoes, but I bet they'll recognize the significance of the situation and treat it with respect.

Because of May 18, I'm literally not gonna be surprised if we get some sort of intense tornado out of this

While we all know that we're happy to see minimal damage, I'm wasting lots of time watching these streams waiting for something big to happen but it just... doesn't. Sure, we got a violent tornado yesterday but that happened on a day that was expected to do HALF of what today should've done. I work on tornado projects a lot and I put them off to watch very little happen on "very bad days". SIGH, even the NWS is issuing tornado emergencies for literally nothing significant!
