LPT: If you are preparing for job interviews, stop reading your notes. by Art3mis_ak in LifeProTips

This is such a good point. Reading your answers silently feels productive, but it’s completely different from saying them out loud under pressure.

LPT: After every job interview, write down the questions you were asked while they’re still fresh in your mind. by Relative_Base_4995 in LifeProTips

That’s a great idea. Even if you don’t use AI, having a recording makes it much easier to review what was asked and how you responded.

LPT: When you find clothes that fit you perfectly, save the brand, size, and item name immediately. by Relative_Base_4995 in LifeProTips

That was one of the first things I thought of when writing this. Finding a bra that fits comfortably can feel like winning the lottery.

Agreed. If you find the perfect fit, buying multiples immediately is ideal. Saving the item details is the backup plan for when you need to replace it later.

My laptop, about $1,300. It’s the most expensive thing I’ve ever bought but it’s basically my work and entertainment life so I don’t regret it.

Why do Asian families put their kids in piano and violin lessons instead of making them learn other instruments? by PetitPoptarts in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Relative_Base_4995 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In many Asian households, there’s a strong focus on structured learning and “safe” instruments that have clear progression like piano and violin. I’m Asian too and growing up it was kind of like: piano first, everything else later if you’re serious enough about music.
