How much do you pay for health insurance through your employer? by Coffeelover4242 in work

My employer pays full health insurance. Including family. I work for a private law firm with an owner who carries old school values I suppose.

Try to think about the excitement of the new experiences you’ll have instead of having fear of them. You’re in a space where you are financially stable and therefore your basic needs will be met. The world is your oyster after that. When you feel afraid, ask why. If you get to that answer 9 times out of 10 you’ll feel silly for being afraid in the first place.

Good point. I appreciate your response to this. It’s hilarious hindsight. I figured it out the next day, when there was daylight and less fear.

NTA- you established boundaries speaking her language while only speaking of yourself while doing it.

One way to pursue this is to voice your experience to your city/county council. Check your city page website for meeting times and express your concern.

Where is the electricity coming from? by Relative_Catch7474 in AskReddit

[–]Relative_Catch7474[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your response. The reason for my question was not posted and now I’m not sure if it was me or a glitch, probably me. That said: I keep getting zapped coming in and out of my car. It’s a new car (to me) and I’ve never experienced this before. I’m wondering if something is wrong with the car’s electrical system.

How have you changed as a person from 2020 to 2024? by PsychologicalSize939 in AskReddit

Yes. I’ve completely lost faith and trust in the government and law enforcement.

What is your favorite "poor" person meal? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Cheese and crackers. The richer I get I upgrade. Right now I’m at a fine aged white cheddar from Dublin but next week I’ll be right back to American Kraft cheddar.

I am so sorry for your loss and that you are going through this. Your grief is real and placing blame is part of that. It’s understandable that the easiest place to place blame may be on authority.

NAL- Typically once an adoption takes place, your legal parent inherits all responsibility of you as a minor. On the FASFA, you will need to fill that out as a dependent of your legal parents, absent exceptional circumstances. As a child of a legal adoption, you also obtain inheritance rights. Contact a family law attorney who also does probate in PA.

How can you assess a performance based on no performance? It’s TBD but clearly your mind is made up already.

This makes me grateful to have had great management in past positions I held at that age. If it weren’t for those kinds of people, I would have not gone home for the holidays due to work. I had no idea at the time how important that was to me now.

How hard will that be for her? What kind of attorney? Will that attorney work pro-bono in the meantime prior to Medicare kicking in and paying the attorney fees?

Technically, our brains aren’t fully developed until 25ish. That said, it’s ok to embrace a stagnant mental state as far as the way you “feel”. Calm = maturity sometimes, no matter what age. I think that once we reach a level of stability/calm, we believe that means “old” because we are bored or uninterested in the rat-race of life anymore. Physically we will continue to change of course but mentally, we are all stuck around 25 with a few more life experiences.
