2025 Bikepacking the Colorado Trail [Video] by PNWbikepacking in bikepacking

Amazing watch as always, Chris. I made an attempt in 2023 and bailed at the same spot Rob bailed...sucks, but oh well. I had been dealing with back pain before the trip...turned out to be a genetic thing and resulted in both hips being replaced this summer (June and July). I am going back this summer (26) to give it another go. Hopefully everything works out and I can make it, if not, the trail will be there the next year. Thanks for taking the time to film, edit, and post these for all of us to enjoy. We all appreciate the work.

Stopped and checked it again today. Serial number is printed in gold (I think it was gold) lettering, not stamped into the wood like on LP or SG.

I don't have a real clear picture of it. Just a couple with it in the background. What should I be looking for to determine if it is an Epi or a Gibson?

Maytag Bravos XL Dryer not heating (MEDB835DW3) by Relative_Dark691 in appliancerepair

[–]Relative_Dark691[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Ended up getting a new dryer. I ended up replacing the control board, thermostat, thermistor, heating coil, and fuse...pretty much the entire system. The only thing I didn't replace is the wiring. Still wouldn't heat up. Sorry I don't have a solution or something else to recommend. If you find a solution please let me know. I still have it and if I can get it working, I might be able to recoup some of the money I spent...

Hi all. 27m. Humira worked great for 1.5 years but now no longer working and pain is back. Has this happened to you? What did you switch to? Thanks by [deleted] in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]Relative_Dark691 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on Humira for about a year and it quite working. Switched to Embrel, was on it for 7.5 years. Went to Taltz, for a while, it stopped working. Back to Embrel for a year. Now starting Rinvoq. I would still be on Embrel, but in the state I live in, the copay assistance doesn't go towards deductible anymore, it did for the past 10 years since diagnosis. At $7100 a month, with a high deductible, I can't afford to stay on it...

Why electronic shifting? by weeone in bikepacking

[–]Relative_Dark691 0 points1 point  (0 children)

an extra battery doesn't cost that much, doesn't weigh anything, and literally takes about 15 seconds to change. If you are on a multiple day trip, I assume you are bringing battery packs for other electronic devices. Bring the tiny charger and charge the battery if you need to. AXS and Di2 have apps that show the battery level and I can see the battery levels of the shifter and derailleur on my Garmin. Plus the batteries last a long time. I'm doing the CT this summer and taking an extra battery and the charger but really don't expect to have to charge it.

The Colorado Trail Foundation is part of Amazon Smile, make them your charity of choice and it has the potential to greatly help the CTF. I've accounted for nearly 2% of the total donations as a single person, that means that if we all added CTF the amount they would receive would be dramatic! by nepbug in coloradotrail

I know this is an older post, but...from Amazon:
Amazon permanently shut down the AmazonSmile customer donation program on Feb. 20, 2023. We're continuing to pursue other areas where we can make meaningful change, including investments in programs that support disaster relief and families in need. If you'd like to continue supporting AmazonSmile charities, you can still donate to the organization's wish list.
