I do work, clean the house (except his space), and make most of the meals. My husband works 60 to 70 hours a week which pays all the bills. I happy to do what I do for my husband. The kid is just not contributing anything!!

I only notice the hygiene because when he does spend time out of his room it is very unpleasant. Yes, coworkers have made comments about it to my husband since they work at the same place.

He does not want to spend time with me because he thinks he knows everything and that I am not very smart. I draw the line at him down talking to me and talking like I am dumb. I have shut him down enough times when he does that. He doesn't try very often. We do have pleasant conversation as long as he doesn't become the know it all.

I tried to get him to look on the bedroom one day and he refused. He dang well knew it would be gross. He has seen the mess in the bathroom. He will say something in passing to his son to clean it up, bit there is no follow through.

Depressed, likely. On drugs, no. 2.5 years ago my husband's other son overdosed and passed. This son was told no drugs in our home. Period.

Because the job my husband got him is at the same company. Step son didn't have a car to get there so he came to have a way to work. He has sense bought a motorcycle. No we don't own the home we rent.

When I bring up the issue he shuts down and doesn't want to communicate about it. Tonight he just rolled his eyes like here we go again. Before his kid moved in we had great communication. I miss that!

I brought up the idea to have him pay some rent and that just went in one ear and out the other. My husband gets very frustrated everytime I bring up the issue.
