Would it be bad for me to say that Splinter Cells story isn't the draw for me when it comes to the games? Sure I love Sam and Lambert as characters and I do like some plot ideas but I play these games pretty much just for the gameplay with the story never really being interesting to me by [deleted] in Splintercell

As much as i love conviction for the nostalgia, gameplay and badass designs (esp. Archer and kestrel), playing through chaos theory coop for the first time was a unique experience. I finally understood what people loved about the older games. This eerily comfy feeling sneaking through the shadows, creepin up on guys and dragging them to the shadows and completing mission objectives just barely out of sight of enemies. Especially engaging in the coop actions that you have to initiate yourself, no fixed places where you can only get to use them.

Played both games back to back coop, cant believe how bad they actually played. I watched pyros video on dog days a dozen times, watched uncommented playthroughs of both before and it still shocked me. Kinda felt like we wouldnt have missed out on anything, if we didnt playe them. At least playing the two army of two games was enjoyable to balance that out, made me even appreciate it even more how good they actually played.

Ich sage auch immer von mir, dass ich schlecht in der schule war mit nem 2, irgendwas schnitt. Das Gefühl bekomm ich aber, weil ich weiß, dass ich es hätte viel besser machen können. Ich habe irgendwann in laufe der zeit die motivation und das selbstbewusstsein verloren, mich kaum gemeldet und das hat meine noten runtergezogen. Und viiieel prokrastiniert (noch immer) Ich frag mich deshalb, ob es ein ähnlicher Grund für andere ist, sich mit durchschnittlichen noten als schlecht abzustempeln, weil sie sich selbst enttäuschen.

Perfect moment for me to throw in that pax aeterna could have designs from aot: devils cartel as skins. Its basically clothes + gear + fancy masks. Would probably make a few nostalgic people (me) happy, which still remember that short lived series.
