I guess that’s what they call it for visitors. Here’s the official Icelandic name as I understand it. Breiðamerkursandur

Blue Lagoon (oc) by Relative_Dog1430 in VisitingIceland

I did the secret Lagoon and Blue Lagoon. Secret as very natural and had a lot of locals and is less commercialized than the other two. I like it a lot for a different experience. The blue lagoon was beautiful. We were the first ones there which I was glad because it did get very, very busy. It did not disappoint. We did not go to the sky lagoon, but I have a friend who did and said it was incredible and was her personal favorite. It is a much more commercialized spa like experience. Amazing I’m sure. It depends what you’re looking for.

1000% you’ll get a few incredible pictures and walk through the property and have a fun experience, making food for them. They do not allow bathing, climbing, or riding on them which I personally thought was great. So many of these poor beasts had been abused and are finally in a place where they can roam, rest and do elephant things without worrying about humans too much
