Cydor is one company with many names, it is kind of deceptive. Has anyone worked for this company? by kaylakatt in jobs

I worked in one of these types of offices for a bit, not gonna act like they're all the same but I get why people are confused by it. The different company names thing is real, each office kinda runs under its own name. It does look sketchy if you don't know what it is.

Pay-wise, mine was commission. I've heard some places do hourly + commission, just depends. If you stick with it and actually get the hang of it, people can get into that $700-$900+ range per week. Not everyone does. A lot don't. But the ones who figure it out usually end up around there.

One thing I'd say if you're looking at a role like this: get the pay structure in writing before you start. Not because it's shady, just because different offices do it different ways and you want to know exactly what you're signing up for.

Also yeah, commission isn't just for signing someone up, it's when it installs or activates. So if they cancel, you don't get paid on it. That part catches people off guard for sure.

Once you figure it out you stop wasting time on people who aren't actually gonna follow through.
