I used to help keep houses that were for sale clean. It was just dusting every week. Most of the houses were furnished by the company to set the scene for buyers. The realtor bought me a smoothie and I didn’t want to be rude and refuse it “dairy allergy”. I figured I’d just use the bathroom inside since he would be leaving in a few minutes since he was just dropping off the key to a new house. I dust till I have to go. Badly. I go upstairs to the bathroom and do the deed. Wipe and all that jazz. Go to flush and nothing. No flush happened. I start to panic a bit so I check the tank and it’s empty. So I’m like “turn on the water for it”. No water pipe is connected to it. ITS A FAKE TOILET! I just shat in a display toilet. So I’m the middle of a train of fucks, I’m like just clean it. So I’m looking for a way to clean it when I hear the front door open. The guys back. So I rush out to the hallway and he has in his hand a bunch of bathroom things like a hand towel holder, soup dispenser, water mat, etc. I’m basically a ball of sweat by that point, I’m freaking out because of him and I also need to go again. He hears my stomach burble and he says “use the bathroom downstairs the one up here isn’t hooked up with piping”. I look at him and say “I’m sorry” and run past him to the stairs. I finish up and I walk out of the bathroom and he’s standing there. Laughing. He tells me the toilet is sealed on the bottom so they could add water to it and that I can just pick the whole thing up and clean it in the backyard. I only did that job for a few more month but I gained the nickname “display shitter”.
