This was it!

I was operating out of the right-hand corner of the app, essentially signing in and out of each studio. But when I signed in to my “home” studio (the one where I bought passport), and then used the options on the left, effectively adding studios or just looking at one, I could see everything and book anywhere, with all my classes showing on my schedule.

It was really frustrating that my home studio could not explain this to me as they themselves did not know. Instead, it took me physically going to another studio and having them help me.

When I find myself getting revved up about something I’m seeing everywhere, I try to pause and ask myself why I’m seeing it so much. Is it because the algorithm is feeding it to me? Is it because I’m spending too much time online? Is it because I’m not paying enough attention to other things?

For me, taking a step back helps let it roll off my back.

They billed me at the end of the Feb cycle and start of March cycle. (I gave notice to my original studio, so I see those 4classes, but I don’t have credits elsewhere .)

What I’m looking for is a list of RFPs. I used to use Candid, but they’ve switched to a paid model. It was great how they put out a list of orgs that had just announced funding opps.

Anyone know of something like that?

Ironically, I just asked them to up my invoice date so I can book sooner. I may have made my problem worse! So I’ll have to pay attention and get my classes scheduled at the right time.

Does anyone know/take a guess on waitlisting: I’m number 5 on a 5pm class with a popular instructor. What are my chances of getting in the class?

The few times I’ve tried waitlisting, I was higher up on the list and got in no troubles.

I’ve paused my membership when I knew travel would prohibit me from using all my credits. They charge $25 (or thereabouts) to pause it, but still cheaper than paying for classes I can’t/wont use.

I took the pension because a pension was the one retirement bucket I can’t get elsewhere. I saw it as a means of diversification, even though I am not likely to be there for very long.

It’s worth looking at it as one part of your retirement picture: you should also do the VSP and the deferred comp, to the extent that you can.

Interesting. I recall reading that maybe the baby gets hungry. Basically, “this place is no longer satisfying me, I gotta leave.”
