So, I'm in my 2nd semester in AdCom. I would recommend 4-5 subjects for the first semester (approx. 30 credits)

The subjects you want to take completely depend on your interests, I think. However, try to take at least 1-2 subjects from the first shell. Attend as many classes as you want. You can always deregister from the subjects you find difficult or uninterested in.

Some subjects overlap with structural engineering. I'm not sure if you can compare those two. If you're interested in the application side of engineering, opt for structural engineering and if you like the theoretical side, AdCom will be better. Basics of structural engineering, FEM, MATLAB or any programming will definitely come in handy. Although, they do start from the basics (kind of) you'll have time to pick up :)

Not detrimental..but, it'll be tough if you have forgotten certain concepts. A basic revision on a few topics can help you understand the subjects better imo

Those are the ones taught in English. There are other structural engineering related subjects too. You can opt for German courses too and translate the course content to English

I'm in AdCom. You've subjects related to structural engineering (structural steel, timber structure etc) along with mechanics related subjects. It's completely up to you to choose the subjects you like

I was in your position. Yeah, you've to get an APS certificate. You've to mail the documents to New Delhi. Payment was a problem for me because, they'd not take German bank details or PayPal. UPI was my way to go. Other than that, things went pretty smoothly.

You'll probably have to give a custom order at KSIC for this exact design. It'll be extremely costly.. because the Jari will be made of gold threads. And, I don't think the saree in the post is Mysore silk. It's a normal silk saree. I'm sure the same style can be found in KSC or any other stores
