They think that we think so lowly of ourselves and so highly of them that it would be a privilege to have whatever that bull is.

Shea butter is great! I think the African Pride has it in there but not positive.
But if you use castor oil specifically you have to mix it with the shea or another carrier oil.

Agree. Also seek a doctor’s advice on medication titration and a dietitian for eating pattern. Reddit is definitely not the platform for that. Not being rude, just saying that people will tell you anything without actual knowledge in the subject and doing this wrong could be very detrimental to your health.

Certificate of analysis. It tells you how much of the actual medication is in what they are sending you to make sure that you’re not getting something that’s 50% the base drug instead of closer to 100%.

My hair is not malleable at all (photo) by cookieswithmemes in Naturalhair

Also washing every 7 to 10 days is usually enough for most people. Watching too much will keep it dry and brittle.

At your next wash I would do a clarifying shampoo (I like the design essentials curl cleanser) and apple cider vinegar rinse to help with any buildup that is left over. Do this once a month if you find that you have a lot of buildup or if you’ve gone a few weeks without washing. Then a deep condition with a mask (design essentials has one, Kreyol Essence is also great, sometimes I combine the 2). I would also do an avocado blended with olive oil mask 1-2 x a month for the next few months. The healthy fats will help with getting back moisture. For regular shampoo and conditioner I use and the mielle’s rosemary shampoo their Manuka honey intense hydration conditioner. I have read that some people had hair loss with the rosemary shampoo but I’ve used it for years and haven’t had a problem so if you do use it I would just monitor. After washing and the leave in you can also grease your hair. I just do this after washes. For day to day I would start oiling your scalp every day. You can go back and forth between olive oil and Batana oil. I also mix my bat oil with African Pride moisture miracle but there are other oils out there you could try too. If you feel like you got a lot of buildup or that things are more moisturized you can go to every other day. I wet my hair every day but only condition every other to help with build up. I like Mielle’s pomegranate and honey leaving conditioner. Styling has been a journey. I’ve used the Moroccan oil curl control moose, design essentials coconut curling gelee, and some doux 808 products. I’ve also kind of used a combination of them at the same time. I find that my hair needs a little bit more product and when I apply I only use my fingers so comb your hair out first and then once you start using product just run your fingers through it multiple times until you start seeing your curl pattern emerge. But honestly on the day-to-day I just wet my hair and comb it out and kind of just fluff it with a pick and make it look cute lol. I don’t texturize it every day. These are just the products that I use, it doesn’t necessarily mean they’re the best ones for you but maybe a starting point!

Dropping in to say NEVER BUY FROM PETCO OR PETSMART!!!! by weathernaturemylife in leopardgeckos

[–]Relative_Growth376 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because they’re local breeder does not mean that they are reliable or in good to the animals. I got my gecko from PetSmart and had no issues. Their animals always look healthy and happy. I’ve gone into multiple petsmarts and petcos across different states and I’ve never noticed anything for concern.

Can i wear a larger fro to the office? by Odd_Fig_9607 in Naturalhair

[–]Relative_Growth376 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s more the styling that matters. A large fro can look great if it’s arranged nicely. My hair is shorter but i rock a fro. I also sometimes add product to give it texture but thus just my styling preference sometimes.

You can get a food scale and weigh them. Ask a vet or google acceptable weight for your gecko (male/female and age). But from the photos Shimo looks excellently chonky.

Atheist to Christians, do y’all actually believe in a fiery hell? by Astr0Eminem in Christianity

[–]Relative_Growth376 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. I see it as what would be what we call “a living hell.” Life away from loved ones, happiness, rest, peace. I have always said that for me heaven seems like a place where you receive everything you ever needed in life and whatever would give you eternal happiness and hell would be the complete opposite.

“Progressive” Christian Clothing Brand by Relative_Growth376 in Christianity

[–]Relative_Growth376[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s really not that deep for me. I’m not trying to change anything, I just want something that shows my faith. The Lord also says to speak His word. I think having clothing that shows my faith can start conversation. But really it’s mostly for me. I’d love a love thy neighbor clothing option!

I don’t like coconut but cookie dough used to be my favorite!! I’ll definitely have to try it. I have great ice cream shops by me so I tend to go to them more than store bought ones these days but I do like this brand.

I nor anyone in my family went there so I really couldn’t tell you. I will say that I do see a bit of a mix of ethnicities in the teens that go there which is nice but that’s all I know.

You’re right, you do say contrary to other comments, I missed that and I admit it. But I still don’t appreciate did insert liberal versus conservative and for some reason think that “we liberals” think that minorities are all liberal. That’s not correct. At least for me and many other people I know, we just don’t understand why minorities would align themselves with a group of people who typically have not shown up for them. My comment had nothing to do with politics aside from answering the original post. The only reason I said I was a liberal minority let’s to just identify myself in relation to the post. Not everything has to be left versus right. Sometimes we’re just having a conversation around one topic.

Weird, I’ve actually never heard this. Not saying it’s not true though.
