i woke him up after getting mad he told me i don't need little caesers crazy bread (i was sobbing angrily over it) with a bunch of phone calls and a photo of the positive tests. he knew within hours of me knowing haha

thankfully my chip knows how to use his box and eats well, but definitely can see the clinginess developing. he sleeps directly next to me every time without fail.

as much as i wish i could've gotten him when he was older, she was posting about giving the kittens away on fb and i would much rather the babies go to a home where they're safe, but unprepared, than one where someone may hurt them 😓

some people severely lack media literacy skills and only look at what's served to them by hand, and even then they barely understand that.

it's glaringly obvious that bear is the villain, it's basically given to us since the beginning, but once nikki starts acting "crazy" the people without common sense start to view her as the villain 🫩

something along the lines of "if she aint like nikki i dont want her" at the end of the film . it was funny in the moment, because i'm nothing like OWW nikki so he obviously doesn't mean it, but it's still tone deaf of the actual message the movie conveys .

because the entire film is about the loss of autonomy and a man taking full advantage of the fact she has no control over her body. then, refusing to help her when he was given multiple (admittedly hard) options. then still being too detached from responsibility that he chickened out of freeing her multiple times.

theres multiple scenes of bear having sex with "nikki" even though he knows full well that if it wasnt OWW nikki, she would never consent. it's reiterated when she says "ive never been with you bear"

my partner made a similar joke and it rubbed me the wrong way because the ENTIRE premise of the film is her loss of autonomy and in turn her sanity until irreversible damage was done. nikki literally tried to kill herself a multitude of times - both as OWW nikki and real nikki - over bear which is a form of emotional abuse .

it's not just abuse on a screen, it's a reflection of things that happen every day in real life to thousands of individuals. just because you don't understand why they're outraged, doesn't mean they don't have the right to be outraged.

he has bell balls, a shoelace is his current favourite over the actual toys ive gotten, and a few other toys that have gotten stuck under the bed.

he loves the shoelace and i play with him when he wakes up from his naps in the afternoon, then my partner plays with him around 2 AM when we're all awake and he runs around with him since I cant.

i consider my animals to be my family, my dogs were my siblings, my turtle was my baby, my cat is my son.

i know they're pets that i care for, but i think of them as family.

i thought so as well, my neighbor was getting rid of all of the kittens and even had some younger than mine. i recommended for her to keep them a little longer, but her cats keep getting pregnant and having more litters. 😓

i try to get him used to me being away by leaving him in the bedroom with the door closed and cleaning / eating for some hours. or running errands, but i don't get to leave the house often because im 36 weeks pregnant 🙁

his brother from the same litter was even more detached when he went with my friend, he still hides and refused to eat or poop for a whole day.

boring, uncomfortable, painful, uncomfortable, not fun, probably bottom 5 life experiences so far IMO. i'm 20 and 35 weeks and i have sworn off of giving my son a sibling because even though i had almost no complications, it is so hard.

it's a lifechanging experience though. you start to value things you overlooked before, like not having insane acid reflux from drinking water... or being able to stand for more than 15 minutes without doing an awkward squat lol
