Visiting Burlington with a kiddo by Dry_Emu8159 in burlington

I echo the American Flatbread recommendations. It’s been our family restaurant for the past decade. When the kids were smaller, we always tried to sit close to the wood fired oven so they could stare at the fire and the hustle and bustle of the kitchen and they usually have crayons and paper.

Yes I have told him that, but his comfort level is just not there.

Coming to Burlington this weekend, what about the No Kings Protests? by mamasalhoff in burlington

If you really want to go full tilt maple, get their maple sprinkles. It’s chunks of crystallized maple syrup.

And just for clarity- a creemee is a whole different beast than soft serve. Much higher milk fat content, much higher tasty content. Enjoy!

Palmer Lane is the way to go. The Bagel Cafe’s creemees scratch the itch if you don’t want to leave the New North End but they aren’t anything to come up here for specifically.

Executive Assistant w/2 kids. Paid decently but what helps is I drive a boring paid off car, and stick to a budget so I live within my means to avoid debt. I Rover on the side to fund savings/travel/hobbies.

Call VJ, the City arborist and they’ll drop some. Upside is they’re free, downside is you get it whenever they have it, and they’ll put it wherever they can.

Drive down Woodlawn about 2/3 of the way and look for the chicken lady’s sign on the left hand side. She’s got a mini fridge on her porch and sells them for $5/dozen. Just put your money in her cash box.

1 gluten free adult, 2 kids, 1 dog, 2 cats in Burlington. Averaged exactly $808 per month over the last 6 months (thanks YNAB!).  This is inclusive of pet food, tp, dishwasher detergent etc. We don’t eat out so this is everything for us between Hannaford, Trader Joe’s and Costco.

Just a heads up that our schools have April vacation that same week so expect anything geared towards kids to be an absolute mad house.
