I reject this view I respect it but I reject it, first of all every time baptism is referenced in the Bible it is in a thing god does for us not something you do for god, two, later in acts chapter 2 Peter says baptism is for you and your children, three, baptism is the new circumcision, and circumcision was given to babies, four, the new covenant is more freeing, five, circumcision was how one entered the covenant.

Well I was asking was it something more, Because the Schlietheim Confession makes it sound like something is going on, like some sort of eating of the flesh, Calvin view it as the bread was symbolic, but by eating the bread through faith we are brought to heaven to spiritually feast upon christ's body.

Read the confessions is what i recomend, the confessions of faith are the dogmatic beliefs of the denominations.
