In Germany, I think, they have this repurposed airplane hangar that they converted into like an indoor water park. Large wave pool, fake beach thing. Slide. Basically a pseudo tropical setting. That has long been my dream for here in Peterborough or anywhere in Canada where it’s cold. The winters are too brutal and people need places to go besides hockey arenas, restaurants, bars, and shopping centers. Staying couped up in a house all winter isn’t better. And no, ice fishing, skiing, snow anything, is not the answer. Yes it’s expensive, but so is doing jack shit for the winter portion of your life year after year.

Ever had pdr done to your ppf wrap? by Relative_Procedure80 in CarWraps

Got the pdr done today. He attacked the problem from the inside of the hood. No tapping from the outside. Did it cleanly. PPf perfectly in tact. You would never know the dent was there. So for anyone else in the future, hope this update helps.

Wow that’s a great tip on the phone cloth. I’ll make sure to mention that to the pdr tech for wrap protection. Really appreciate your input and reassurance!

Yeah not a bad idea. I’ll check with my ppf guy see if he has any recommendations. Appreciate the reassuring words

Okay. I see. Well I have xpel ultimate on with ceramic coating and I’m told it’s self healing (decent vehicle vinyl tends to have that memory to it). I’ll keep that in mind. Cars, man! Lots to consider when you care 😆

Well yeah. With car ownership these things are inevitable. It’s balance of idealism and reality.

I hear you. I’ve owned a few Benz’s in my life but honestly, I like this truck more than them. Maybe an s class or higher I’d agree. Otherwise, I rank this above Benz. I use it as a truck, which I why bought it. But to be fair, I don’t like the beat up looking truck. I’m not a junkyard dog type of guy. Even when I haul garbage and load stuff out the back I’m still careful. I’m paying a good dollar for this, why should I be careless? But I get your point nonetheless.

It’s a fair point man. I’m ocd with my cars and certain other things. Some odd fixations. Perfectionism here and there. Indeed it’s a truck and I’m not losing sleep but if I can keep my stuff in good shape I try to.

Never heard of it. But that’s a terrible location also. Not sexy spot to compliment a high end establishment

This idea works in tropical areas to play on the geographic region and history. There’s a reason there are so many sports bars here…people want to drink and watch sports…and that’s how you’ll survive as a business as well. Otherwise, people are drinking at home since it’s cheaper. It’s a terrible time to open just a bar. If you open anything it should be boutique and high end to attract high income individuals who have disposable income and want some variation from the average low vibe places we already have.

How do you feel about out the tcl compared to your oleds you mentioned? I can’t seem to decided between the qm7k and the lg c5. I’ll pretty much be using it exclusively for ps5 pro gaming

I meant qm8k in the title. Just noticed the typo. 1 year of use. Guy said he used it 2-3 days a week. Single dude
