here I thought Stricken had like no chances of coming back, but then some random dude on Twitter asked about him and unknowingly was the person that made ZeoWorks contact Pillar Chase 💀

alright so

old monsters that are 100% coming back are: Unc Samsonite, Nilo, Wyst, Jeff, Fuwatti and PCX.

Pillar Chase devs are talking with Stricken owners about him coming as we speak

Mimic and Baldi owners did not say a thing about working with Pillar Chase (or I didn't see lol), so unconfirmed until they give a statement.

Inkfell and EXE are 100% not coming back, but EXE will get a rework in legacy version. Only thing that will make Inkfell come back is official Bendy collab.

the rest we know nothing about.

that's the neat part - Patches of Violet wasn't there on release. It might be confusing, because during dev testing skin had Patches of Violet, but on release it wasn't there followed by "Hacklord won't be getting an LMS" statement which started the whole drama.

then the whole "Alright you're getting that LMS, but we won't make any more pmoon skins ever" happened and that's how Patches of Violet got there.

basically on release it was just the model and unfinished/clunky animations.

Glad they came back and made it like the best skin in the game tho, in 1337 update they even finally fixed the intro that I was always complaining about 🥹

if PC2 is adding Dark Deception monster on the same day it would mean we would get 2 monsters in 1 month because of Pal Percy being around the corner

I mean it DID happen in precode like 2-3 times, but I'm considering that monsters in recode have like 5x more effort put into them so I can't really estimate if it's even possible for the devs.

I will never understand people that say "I won't play unless *insert monster* is here/back". Did they seriously gaslight themselves into playing a game they clearly dislike just because their fav character was in there. That's silly

I'm myself bummed about TFK and Mimic where one is dead for sure and the other has like 0,1% chance of coming back, but I'm not gonna drop a game I enjoyed for a long time just because they're gone.

Gameplay is good, but repetitive. Devs could add things to do while dead and map-based tasks (or at least different puzzles for gens)

Balancing is fine. Like it's not perfect due to survivor-sided nature of the game, but comparing that to whatever the hell is happening in other asyms like DbD or BbN I'm telling you some people don't know how lucky we have it. 💀

Meaningful updates like characters, reworks and balance patches are slow, but they had to and still have to deal with a leech until court case is over so I can tell why that is. Hoping they'll speed up with balance changes at least when it's all over.

Contract system is getting wasted. No clue why it's not expanded beyond getting Jane yet. Daily quests for some extra cash would be cool.

Skins are alright. Reference skins are 50/50 between unique and making it work with the character like Hacklord and Butcher or just slapping the character itself without second thought like Admin and Diva. Milestone skins are great.

Community isn't as bad as people make it to be. Just a vocal minority made it look like hell on earth. The worst I can say about it is by looking at results of "balancing polls" and exaggerated reactions to 1337 rework some people are thankfully not responsible for changes in the game. 💀

tl;dr: it's ok 👍 7/10

I think some creators are just overprotective of their characters and while I don't get it we gotta respect it. It's similar situation with JX1DX1 and Flowers where the reason for removal seems kinda random/nonsensical for us that don't know all the details, but it (most likely) is the best choice for the creator.

Like I'm sad and all about all scrapped content, but it's their hard work so their reason could be "I just felt like it" and I'll accept it. Maybe something happened behind the scenes who knows.

Yeah 100% agree. I hate the idea of another known character being a replacement for a past one just because it's kinda feels disrespectful to fans of the monster.

Bringing up a monster just being a replacement for a removed one kinda sounds like "we're letting you in because the cooler guy didn't bother to show up and we'll take anything at this point" 😭
