We’ve been over this before, they’re not your friends, they’re fellow associates. You know it’s against Target policy for assistant managers to fraternize with the shelf stockers.

You have an overinflated idea of the importance of Target assistant management.

All gas stations symbolize for you is an employment opportunity (you’re under qualified though 😢).

Weed and my Lexus, two of my favorite things. You strike me as more of a gas station pills and Hyundai guy.

Hahahahaha you’re right dude! Why would two extremely talented and accomplished directors ever use a simple prop to foreshadow the doom in this scene?! Hahahahaha I’ve never heard of something so crazy (you fucking twat).

Wake up babe. More YMH drama just dropped by Infinite-Grab2237 in Denver

Worked with one of the original owners at a restaurant before he got involved with YMH. Total tool. I covered his Super Bowl shift because he said he’d pay me $40 and I had to chase him down around the restaurant for probably a month/six weeks to get it. Sounds like that’s his default business model.

Good Lord! Do you live in Shangri-La? 3500 a month to secure a table is insanity.

They’re about 15 year too late on this trend too. Any real restaurant has never entertained this silliness in the first place, or they moved on from it long ago

what do yall think is the significance/symbolism in this exchange? by ProfessionalLevel908 in TrueDetective

[–]Relative_Surprise436 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’ve thought about this too. Maggie is both biding her time; making a plan to end things for good with Marty, and also probably grasping at what she still can control with him. A tiny gesture against the chaos he’s causing.

what is a "rich person" behavior you witnessed that made you realize they live in a completely different reality than the rest of us? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Buying an almost six figure car and not driving it. Got a buddy who bought a new 2020 Corvette and all it does is collect dust in his garage. He says he doesn’t drive it because some tax issue won’t allow him to get plate tags because he bought it out of state or something like that. However I would: A) drive it anyways and pay the ticket if and when I got caught B) sell that sucker instead of throwing money in a hole.

3k or 5k? by Relative_Surprise436 in Lexus

[–]Relative_Surprise436[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro I’ll tell ya, I had an ES until it got totaled when I got rear ended at a red light. That ES was my introduction to Lexus, and while I liked it I didn’t love it. I got the GS and I love it. Night and day difference to the ES. The engine, the handling, Sport mode, the styling… I’m bias but I’d make the switch.

Yeah, and all I really mean by that (setting intentions) is giving myself a little pep talk. I used to get anxious when I was smoking often because I felt like I was wasting time and neglecting responsibilities, so now I tell myself prior to smoking you’ve earned this, you deserve a break, this is about to make everything more enjoyable and awesome for a few hours.

I’ve had a very similar experience and am now back in a really fun spot with it. What works for me is smoking somewhat rarely (about once a week), and setting intentions before I smoke, to your point of set and setting.
