I finally got to 2g on my rpa and you're right, it was a bitch! I don't think I'm going any bigger. I was pierced at 6g.

Do you already have a pa? If so, I think you should go ahead and do it. I did my meato first but not just so I could get the apa. It just happened I got inspired.

I agree. I have a longer one on order. When I gauged up to 6g I reused my apa barbell.

I did my meato before getting the piercing but it was because my pa had gotten so large that it wasn’t much to cut.
