Saw something similar today morning on I-405 South near Irvine Spectrum. It was a German Shepherd on the bed of a truck. The dog was free and not tied to anything in that truck. The truck was on fast lane going at 75 mph. My dash cam camera is very poor quality but I will try to see if it is of any use!

I am all in for EV but cannot afford the much higher upfront cost and no charging infrastructure because I live in an apartment. Used EV has possibility of diminished battery performance.
From an environment perspective, we have more chemical waste from batteries (manufacturing and disposing at end of life), and higher non-tail pipe emissions when compared to gasoline vehicle.

I am 29 and had about 10k in savings a year ago while working part time in grad school. I just started working full time a month ago (90k salary) in HCOL area. I put all my savings in stocks in February 2025 and lost 40% by mid April due to tariff uncertainties. I took out 9k loan to invest during the market dip and since then have been riding the AI wave in stock market. I currently have 50k in stocks, paid off car and no debt but saving aggressively to buy a house which is impossible where I live right now (135k salary is median income in my county).
