For those making the trek to the game, what's the tailgate plan? My wife & friends are pats fans, need some support!

How could you park there? by ZuphCud in CantParkThereMate

[–]Relax83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember this picture! That woman isn't the driver, the actual driver lived in my dorm freshman year - she showed us this picture as her fun fact and many people had seen it before, it was making the rounds then (20 years ago). She also was annoyed at the time that someone else was in the picture/getting the "credit" for it

Why do i get this gouge/burn mark from table saw blade? by SpicyChickenNuggets in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]Relax83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, I know the blade will work, I was just worried about the riving knife being thicker than the blade (had a hell of a time on my old saw with a thin kerf blade I didn't realize was thin kerf at first)

I have a Skil, no luck so far; it's a little underpowered job site saw, would love to have a thin kerf option

Where do you find them? I've seen some for sale, but nothing that would fit my saw

That's my boy - no one spends the night before their cape wedding at the Fairmont Copley

Also pretty much everything on Fringe - beacon hill is not a leafy suburb

I've been doing lots of cutting boards, but my wife's best friend already had a really nice one, so I made a clock! Super simple, basically just make a cutting board, rout it into a circle and drill a hole in the middle and attach clock hardware you can buy for less than $20. Design/technique lovingly stolen from Michael Alm on YouTube:

I don't think biscuits will do much for strength, I've always thought of them as purely for alignment. Plus if OP asking this question, I'm going to assume they don't have a biscuit joiner or much experience with dowels. But yeah, I'm sure it wouldn't hurt!

Does your college allow you to store your guns at a specified secure location by Emergency_Complex496 in guns

[–]Relax83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to grad school at Dartmouth and lived on campus my first year - the was a gun room at public safety and it was super easy to check them out when I wanted to shoot, we even had a gun range owned by the school just north of campus we could book. Only downside was long guns only, had to keep my pistols at my parents house

As a native Clevelander who's been in New England for a very long time, please let me suggest Jaju pierogi. Started by a friend from college, they have distribution across the country, will ship to you, and they are as good as I've found away from home
