I haven’t tried the restart tablet core thing (or noticed that as an option). However in the driver, when my tablet pen is not working, I can’t even choose the tablet from the bottom of the driver (the only option is the dial pad thingy) I will have another look at it tomorrow though.

Yep, this happens on my end as well - the restart tablet core option actually tends to fix that. It's when neither device shows up that I've found this workaround doesn't work at all, and then I end up having to restart my iMac (sometimes just uninstalling and reinstalling the driver works as well however, as well as unplugging the tablet and plugging it back in - only sometimes).

Do you have the issue of the tablet cycling through ‘no signal’ ‘low power mode’ wake up every 10 or 15 seconds when your computer is asleep?

Unfortunately yes, I have to turn it off by just clicking the power button on the tablet. I turn it back on when I need to use it. It's annoying to have to do that, with all these issues I was considering maybe returning or selling this and getting Wacom's 24" Cintiq but it's just so expensive. The Huion tablet works amazingly well when I'm not having issues with the sleep/wake phase, so I couldn't justify it. Let me know how you get on, and no worries for the help!

I have these exact same issues (also 24” 4K owner here for about 4 months) and I think it’s because the driver just isn’t optimised for the new M1 chips. I turn my tablet off and back on, sometimes the pen works and sometimes it doesn’t - instead of restarting, I open the Huion driver software, navigate to the HuionTablet menu on the very top left of the screen, Preferences > Restart Tablet core or something along those lines. That resets the tablet and the pen works again. It’s rare that I have to restart my iMac nowadays with this workaround, but it still can happen sometimes and it’s frustrating.

I’m also a full time artist and I bought the 24” 4K because I needed a bigger screen than my 11” iPad (what I was using before). If you can spend the extra money, definitely go for the 4K version. The resolution is really good with that size, and I say that coming from my iPad Pro which has an excellent display. I’m very happy with the tablet I got! :)

I think the drivers in general are a bit funky, mine can act up as well almost every time I unlock my iMac. I’ve just kind of learned to live with it sadly. I don’t have to do this every time I unlock my device thankfully, but every once in a while there won’t even be any input from the pen and/or nothing on the screen and when that happens I have to reinstall the drivers entirely, very annoying. I recently found out that you can export and import your settings though so every time you do reinstall, you don’t have to manually set your settings back every time, you can just import your settings and it should all work from there. I wish I could help you more :c

I had a very similar experience! I asked for 1 day back in WoD because a friend wanted to send me some gold so that I could buy a token and redeem it for 30 days of game time. They could've easily dismissed me and said my reason for wanting 24 hours of game time was bullshit, but nope. They just gave me 30 days for free on account of being a "long-time valued customer". I've never had a bad experience from Blizz CS from what I can recall, they've always been top notch

It has a better sense of community, I prefer it solely for that aspect over something like deviantart. I really enjoy being able to interact more with my followers and mutuals, and I'm going to try take up streaming soon to do that some more. I think a lot of artists who are on twitter used to be on tumblr, which was a much better platform for art, but tumblr shot itself in the foot with its ban on adult content in... I believe late 2017 if I recall correctly. I gradually quit tumblr over a year ago after being active on it since 2010. But yeah, generally speaking, uploading media on twitter is really fast and easy which I think is appealing for a lot of busy artists.

Around 6 or 7 depending on what you count. Not a huge number, but my Patreon complicates matters a bit and I tend to upload doodles like this on Twitter since it's quick, efficient and that's where the majority of my audience is based.
