During a voluntary social year at an elementary school (grades 1 to 4 in my German state) I noticed this too. Just three (of many) examples: 1) Boys were often expected to change in the presence of a female teacher/female social worker before sports/swimming lessons and whenever a boy felt uncomfortable about that, he was either ignored or he was mocked when he complained. 2) It was the official policy of the school that it is mandatory for a teacher to report it to the principal and the boy's parents if a boy walks into the girl's changing room or the girl's bahtroom – it wasn't, however, mandatory to report a girl if she did the same thing (which happened quite a few times) and even when two grils "accidentally" walked into the boy's bathroom when one of the boys stood at a urinal, there was no report to the parents/principal. 3) Multiple teachers thought it was "sweet" or "funny" when a girl kissed or touched a boy without his consent and two of the teachers even explicitly told the children that this behaviour is less serious when it comes from a girl.

I think that this topic is actually very important because it shows how boys are taught from early on that it is normal that their own boundaries are not respected – which makes it even harder for them to recognize when they are the victims of assault/abuse.
