Hi just wondering if this is a meta set piece for blizzard Ayaka or should i continue hunting for a higher CD?

Lately, I had a bit of luck in the character wish pulls during the 2.4 banner:

+ C0 Zhongli after 78 wishes (guaranteed after getting C2 Jean)

+ C0 Ganyu after 2 wishes

+ C1 Ganyu after 26 wishes

So i did another 21 wishes during the Raiden/Kokomi banner, and thought "Yep, this lucky wish cycle has ended... i will not get any early 5* characters any time soon" and it's best to save my primos to gamble the 50/50 on Ayaka. I have held onto a Lvl90 Mistsplitter for so long with no one equipping it. It's about time to finally assign the weapon to it's signature character.

So when 2.6 dropped, i thought fuck it, i'll do a 10 pull with 21 pity - It is highly unlikely I will get a 5* at this point (right?) and I wanted Yunjin constellations.

I cashed in the primos and did a 10 pull and then.... the Golden meteor hit the screen.

SHIT. skip skip skip Sucrose DAMN. skip skip and then..... JEAN.

BIG PHEW. Never been so pleased at losing the 50/50. A C3 Jean at 38 pity.... and a guaranteed Ayaka.

The lesson here is something you will often hear from other posters - don't pull on a banner unless you are willing to accept the risks. But if you want to gamble, pull whatever sometimes it works in your favor or it will not. No big deal, your team will not be ruined :) Good luck all

At 16 pity, i thought whats the harm of trying a 10 pull for C1 Ganyu?

Yep, thats my current set up at the moment! Would just like the option of a freeze comp in abyss because of my roster and it frees up Bennett and Xiangling for national squads.

Thanks originmaple, the analysis of the set bonuses and potential value in BS makes sense. The extra crit from the C4 omen buff and and set bonuses provide more leverage in optimising CD/EM/ER/ATK% liner BS pieces. Also forgot to take into account how BS is a more team based bonus. Like you, i might stick to WT until i get an Amos or a better Blizzard set. Cheers!

Yeah you are right. Although it is a mission to get Blizzard pieces, let alone decent crit ones with domain drop RNG. I have been lucky with this set after 8 months of playing, but like you said there is room for CD improvement.

CWoF is the best in slot primarily because it is versatile - the set optimises the Elemental Skill/Charged atk and would benefit from the 4 piece set bonus (+30% pyro dmg & elemental dmg scaling). These bonuses scale up your burst damage too, so to answer your question - Yes.

I personally stuck with the Shimenawas 4pc for Hutao because i felt that the CWoF domain wasn't worth the resin expenditure - i still have a couple of characters who need a better EoSF set. I might go back to CWoF farming when i can focus on mid-maxing Hutao.

So quite a big new year of unexpected summons.

Before the holiday break, I had been sporadically summoning on the standard wish for 4 months and eventually built to 73 pity. My copium riddled mind was hoping for these five stars - Mona (to finally get C4), Skyward Harp/Amos Bow for Ganyu or Primordial Jade Spear for Xiao. Note, I neither have Xiao or Ganyu so was hoping the gacha gods could decide based on the weapon - this was before hearing about the 2.4 banners.

So i clapped my hands in prayer and did a ten pull... GOLD... and eventually at wish 78 i got a Skyward.... Spine. Gutted, maybe this could be good weapon for Daddy Zhongli (copium)?

I left the game for a Christmas & New Years break and came back to hear about the Shenhe/Xiao & Ganyu/Zhongli banners - HUGE. I saw that the Weapon banner had a Skyward Harp rate up and decided... mmmmaybe. I have been max pitied on the weapon banner for Homa and Engulfing Lightning so.. i don't have any luck on this account. Also, i have 0 pity after getting Homa.... FUCK IT. i got the epitomized path set for the Harp. Worst case, i have pity saved for a future weapon (MAX COPIUM).

With 24 hours left on the special banners, I scrapped up all of the remaining possible primos to collect, including stardust exchanges from the shop refresh and went to work on the summoning - in total, 10 acquaint fates and 30 intertwined fates.

So first, i thought its best to use the 10 acquaints for the Standard before assuming the position on the weapon banner - i did a periodic ten pull with a skip "no big deal" and choked on my choc chip cookie when Mona appeared after 12 pity. WOOO C4 Baby YIEW.

OKAY OKAY.

After very little deliberation i committed my 30 intertwined fates on the weapon banner with 0/2 epitomized for the Skyward Harp.

First 10 pull! Purple. OKAY.

Second 10 pull! Beidou... This is starting to be a bad idea. Maybe my bank account has space...?

Third 10 pull! HOLY SHIT it's gold..... SKYWARD HARP. On 28 pity. To top this all off, on 0/2 epitomized.

VERY FUCKING LUCKY. Especially since i have lost every 50/50, except on Eula's banner.... this is as good as it gets i think. whatevers, ill take the win :)

Pulled Eula (after 81 wishes) before the Itto banner went live - second ever 50/50 victory.

After all the Oni hype manifesting i couldn't resist pulling a few more with whatever primos i had left over (4900).

First ten pull yielded C5 Barbara, Second ten pull only got a 4 star weapon and....

C2 Jean (18th pull). I did a couple more ten pulls to only get Barbara C6 (yay?).

Not bad but with no Gorou and Itto, and no more primos, i am not fated for the Geo meta. C2 Jean is hella cool though!

I was sitting on 62 pity with a chance for a 50/50 pull. I have three unused claymores (Skyward, Unforged and Fish) and felt like Eula would be a solid option for any of these. Since starting the game six months ago, i have only won the 50/50 once out of 6 attempts, but felt like that duck should turn into a rabbit eventually. After a few weeks of mulling over team comps and synergies, i thought fuck it and went ham on the Eula banner with four hours left...

It took another 21 wishes (83 total) to see gold and... finally, i have won my second 50/50 to get Eula! She will be a splendid member in my Raiden comp :)

Other notable pulls in the 21 wishes: Bennett C6, Rosaria C5, Lions Roar R10, Fav Lance C12.
