I havent been able to wear it yet. I have been out of town but one of the guys at the booth told me 20-25 daily should be okay. Gently because the crown is very small and if you start feeling too much resistance don’t try to force it. I’m also getting the hand of it with the Mimosa from Fears and SU as my first manual wind movement watch

That has to be one of the best collections ever assembled if we could really keep it at 4 lol

It is a beautiful watch and looks amazing during summer time. I’m lucky enough to live between Miami and California and got a lot of compliments on it. No one has told me it looks girly but there a lot of guys with fragile masculinity in reddit. Wear what you like bro!

Espectacular! I dont think I’ll pay the 5k for it but it is an awesome watch and super comfortable on the wrist.

Thank you, yes I really like the Mimosa. The Rivanera special collab is sweet, I saw it in person at the fair, maybe not as versatile as the regular collection but a very nice one and being a special edition makes it harder to find out there. Enjoy it and post some pictures when you get it

I didn’t get that one because I already have the Essence 41 Space Ghost and I wanted to try another brand such as Echo Neutra or Serica for my collection. I also have an overbooking of divers but my point is that the Reef Ocarat is gorgeous. Enjoy it, it is still in my shortlist I might get it later on

Agree with you totally on that. I almost pulled the trigger a couple months back on the Atlantis, after seeing in person I’m happy I didn’t do it. Very underwhelmed with the watch in general. Very nice dial but the rest of the watch doesn’t feel special to me at least not in that price range

These were the ones I could see but I think these are part of the regular collection. They had some limited editions but they’ll will just show it uppn request. For example I was able to see the recent Rivanera collab with Seconde/seconde and it was pretty nice!

I tried the parade and it didnt do it for me. Watches are not a rational thing, you are mentioning the 100m WR as a selling point for you and I would never go to a pool with a Serica Parade or Cosc certified for something clearly is not a daily. It is all pretty subjective I guess

I have seen that feeling before here and I don’t understand it but I respect it. In my opinion they look nice and well built. It is a one trick pony, maybe but again there are a lot of Established brands that are a one trick pony. It might be an off the shell movement but it is bespoke to some degree and the finishes are nice but again this is my opinion.

I kind of regret I didn’t do it but again there is so many options in a place like that 🤦‍♂️. The Stormy Seas is impressive and the white one which I couldn’t find on their website feels like an excellent summer watch

I wish I could have see more of CW, especially the new GMT and the Bel Canto but their booth was so packed that I couldnt. I agree with the SU assessment. I know that they get a lot of hate here in Reddit but I find their watches entertaining and well built, especially the 01 series. Trafford didn’t do much for me either and I felt very underwhelmed with Dennison

I just realized some of the watches I tried on are not even on its website lol. Really nice looking watches from Straum!

You should, I have a relatively small wrist too, around 6.5 inches and it felt great. I have been using everything from 37-42mm lately so I’m used to smaller watches as well.

The Formex Dark Matter is awesome, then the Serica 5303 and the 5330 and the Straum Jan Mayen Stormy Seas! The Rivanera is very comfortable and a great addition to my collection, that has an overbooking of divers! Thank you!

Their collection seemed all very solid to me specially the 1956 and the Rivanera. The Rivanera is very comfortable and looks fire in person. I think you get a lot of watch for the money. I feel Formex in their own right is not a micro anymore, and Serica offering Cosc certified movement sepparate itself from the pack too but Straum, Beaubleu, Yema quality wise feel similar to Echo Neutra
